MUSLIMS IN ARUA RALLY AGAINST HOMOSEXUALITY

Muslims in Arua city protested against homosexuality. Most of the protesters are children from different primary and secondary schools, and leaders from other religious groups and organized an anti-LGBT rally at in the city. This protest came after the wide spread of LGBT groups the Uganda

Again, one of the Imam in Arua city, urged school heads to watch their students’ characters to avoid cases of homosexuality.

Homosexuality is one of the most disgusting sins and greatest crimes. It is a vile perversion that goes against sound nature, and is one of the most corrupting and hideous sins....  These LGBT groups target schools, especially poor children, give them money and vehicles. Teachers, you must monitor those rich students at your schools because some of them are funded to spread homosexuality,’’ he also said.

Buga juma said they distanced themselves from the Church of England that endorsed same-sex relations.

“If animals can’t practice homosexuality, why would a human, who was created in God’s image, practice it? As a church, we condemn same-sex relations because it is against the divine laws and nature,” Buga Juma also said
