I am not Contesting-Joel Aita

His look, integrity, capability and competency  is causing cold feet

Arua City: By Osman Draga

The  Chief Executive Director of Joadah Consult,  who is also Chairman Arua Hill Sports club Joel Aita has confirmed no plan to run for any political office as his crucial impact on all identified development indexes had given credence of romours that he might trump card which pressed panic button and ventured into rumor mercantile, spreading all forms of rumor about him.

This disingenuous speculation which had  caused othering and cold feet to politicians was not only a calorie from ignorance, but a confirmation of abazability and azazility in Arua City politics but now their arteries can start  functioning very  normal as Joel Aita has confirmed to Today Africanews that he is not contesting because he has no interest in politics.

”‘I have no interest in politics’, the conventional kind Joel Aita who is extremely calm and quiet man and not a noise-maker said people go into politics to make money and he cannot waste his time in that job when he is actually paying some of his workers better than the salary of Members of Parliament.

The quiet Aita, who acknowledged that very many people had suspected him to be contesting for Arua City which he said almost caused hatred, reaffirmed that  he prefers civil life where he can enjoy freedom of expression than being a politician who is not having  independence in his life.

Aita who is famous in engineering and technology field has  gained the attention of high profile politicians in the country including the son of President Yoweri Museveni,  prefers to go with his work and let his accomplishments speak for him. And he has done quite well  where he has built for the people of West Nile Yumbe  hospital in Yumbe district,  he has constructed Arua Market, built roads and now he is in Muni University, if the truth can be told, he has done remarkably well, turning things around within West Nile region.

The brilliant Aita is right now running big infrastructural development projects across five countries in Africa notably Uganda, Liberia, Ethiopia, Malawi and Mozambique.
Before his clarification, speculation about his intention to contest in Arua City was incresenting  and creating a spike of intensity ahead of NRM primary election in 2025 with too dry hatreds and since he has blown out his own whistle ruling him out from the race, the  speculation on the race  to carry NRM flag in Arua City now remains Evelyn Anite, Robert Ejiku to tussle out NRM primary election with Jackson Atima the current occupier of the seat.
Both Anite and Ejiku have not made it known to the public but their body languages are speaking for  them contesting come 2026.

But those familiar with Arua City politics  argued that if Jackson Atima, Ejiku Robert and Anite contest together for NRM primary election the result will be squabbles which will  threaten the fortunes and chances of NRM winning the election because the loyalists of the defeated candidate will de-markete the official candidate of NRM which  then will  affect NRM's fortunes and paves way for oppositions whose strength are  growing
